Next Development Phase

The two pictures display the 18 acres that will become the next phase of development for D&E Properties, LLC in the Spring of 2010. The land can be seen from the east cul-de-sac in Northwood as you look east toward Camp Dodge. It is a beautiful piece for ground with a 1 acre pond and is lined with trees. The parcel will be divided into 4 lots, each running between three and 4 acres. The development will be called Hawkeye Estates. It will be a private, gated community.

The private access through the gate will be located on 86th Street. The huge lots will allow for large executive homes and the potential for outbuildings, if desired. The 30 foot fountain in the pond adds beauty to the parcel. There will be a large bronze statue of "Herky" the Iowa Hawkeyes mascot at the center of the cul-de-sac. All lots will have sewer water and utilities.

You must act soon if this development appeals to you. There are only four lots and they will go fast. It will be the only gated community in Johnston.
